Ookla certifies Vodafone as Delhi NCR’s fastest 4G network provider

Verified by broadband testing and web-based network diagnostic applications provider, Ookla, Vodafone has emerged as the fastest 4G network in Delhi.

Ookla’s findings, which are based on analysis of multiple parameters, have testified Vodafone SuperNet 4G speeds to be the highest as compared to all other operators in Delhi NCR. Ookla's results of 4G data speed tests done across the length and breadth of Delhi NCR region have revealed that Vodafone SuperNet 4G is the fastest network in Delhi NCR .

Speaking on the development, Vishant Vora, Chief Technology Officer, Vodafone Idea Ltd. said, “With 10 telecom circles and many parts of Delhi NCR fully integrated, Vodafone Idea customers are experiencing the benefits of a unified and future-ready digital network. Vodafone Idea Ltd. is on a major network modernization exercise in Delhi NCR region to make it future-ready, and has already completed network integration in East Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida & Ghaziabad regions. In one of the largest deployments of latest technologies in the country, Vodafone Idea has set up 7,800 Massive MIMO, Small Cells and TDD sites to enhance coverage and network capacity in Delhi NCR.

Vodafone Idea Limited says that the company offers 4G, 3G and 2G services through its large network with 11745 sites and 53.8 Mhz of spectrum in Delhi NCR. The recent network initiatives have resulted in Vodafone 4G delivering fastest speeds in the metro and the recognition by global leader - Ookla® at this stage validates the efforts of the company.

Fastest 4G speeds in Delhi NCR is based on analysis by Vodafone of Ookla Speedtest Intelligence data of tests taken by 4G users using popular Speedtest app from April to June 2019. Delhi’s Fastest 4G speed Network certification is based on mean 4G speeds.
