Vikram Mehmi is Idea Cellular CEO

The board of directors of Idea Cellular has
announced the appointment of Vikram Mehmi as its CEO with effect from November
1, 2003. He was earlier the officiating CEO of the company. Mehmi joined Birla
AT&T Communications (which later on merged with Tata Cellular to form Idea
Cellular) as CFO in December 1999.
