Vijoy Kumar, New CMD of ITI

Vijoy Kumar has been appointed as the CMD of ITI Ltd, in addition to his current position as deputy director general (production, investment policy, and promotion) in DoT, under the union ministry of communications & IT. An M.Tech from IIT Kanpur, Kumar belongs to the 1977 batch of Indian Telecom Service. His earlier postings include as DDG switching, TEC; TDM Patna and area director, North Bihar; GM-TD, Belgaum, etc.
