On the other hand, with increased internet usage over the last few years, the digital and social media landscape in India has witnessed a paradigm shift. As per the study of IBFE on ‘India’s Advertising and Marketing Industry’, the digital marketing spend has grown at 33% annually between 2010 and 2016. About 87 per cent brands are leveraging digital and 38 per cent of them are allocating a whopping 1/3rd of their budget to digital marketing. Therefore, there is huge demand for seasoned professionals who keep refreshing themselves on latest digital strategies and tools. The launch of the Digital Marketing Nanodegree is well timed, and with it students will get an opportunity to run actual, live campaigns, analyze results, and develop their ability to present actionable insights in meaningful ways.
