TouchTel-- Bharti's Basic Telephony Brand

Bharti is planning to have a new brand for basic telephony called TouchTel. TouchTel will be for all the new state circles where Bharti is planning to start operations. Services in Haryana is scheduled to be launched in the last week of November 2001 followed by the circles of Punjab, Maharashtra, Kerala, Delhi, and Andhra Pradesh. In the MP circle, where the company is providing basic services under the brand name AirTel, there will be a transition to TouchTel brand.
