Ai-Logix provides industry-specific products–voice and data
hardware integration cards for call recording and voice/data logging. The
company is currently foraying into the Indian market. Frank Dong, chief
delegate, Ai-Logix shared some of his thoughts about the company’s foray into
India. Excerpts:
With what focus have you now entered into the Indian
market?
For almost last three years we were eyeing this growing market. We witnessed
some good signs of good market for us. The focus at this moment, primarily, is
to establish some long-term relationships with the industry.
Finding a proper channel to reach out to the Indian market is
also an area of concern for us. Apart from this, as an market segment we will
focus on computer telephony integration (CTI).
What are the promising areas you foresee into Indian
telecom market?
Call center market is growing at a good growth rate. This could be a
promising area for us for some more years to come. In India, this market segment
has shown some great opportunities during the lat few years.

This market require solutions like voice recording, archiving
and quality measurement. Call Center managers are becoming increasingly
interested in providing their agents with recorders in order to improve customer
service and provide agent monitoring and feedback.
The market requires solutions that fully integrate, are
scalable, have flexible architecture, and support the greater functionality
demanded by this market. Ai-Logix offers an integrated suite of recording
components to support systems that capture, store, analyze and replay calls,
recreate complete transactions, and have the ability to identify quality
variances. We have flagship of products like Call Logging Board. We are bringing
this product to India.
What was the agenda of your visit to India? How was the
market response?
We received some good queries. Moreover, we also received some good and
promising feedback for Government side. The Indian Government has also discussed
with us about some good project. I cannot disclose details of this project at
this moment, because it is not yet finalised.
What are the challenges you foresee in the Indian Market?
The sensitive cost of the market is can be a challenge of us. But we are
working on to bring low cost products for the Indian market.
And since we are coming into this market through call logging
systems that are widely used for call centers application. Another upper hand
for us is that, we are bringing high-end technology of international standards
to the domestic Indian market.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of this market
that you observed?
There are several advantages such as the size of the market. Big market size
is always a good sign for growth for any industry.
Secondly, the market is good for research and development.
The only negative point that we have observed is its cost sensitivity. The
instability in cost, never let any company to get establish easily.
What about the growth rate of Ai-Logix globally? What are
your expectations from India?
We are proud on having a growth percentage of 40 per cent annually on global
platform. We expect to expand our leadership through Indian market and became
leaders in India as well.
Which are the upcoming products from Ai-Logix?
As a company’s strategy, we keep on introducing newer products to the
market. Otherwise, we are working on developing VOIP call recording product that
will soon be introduced into Indian market.
