Telenor Ties up with Estel for Satellite Connectivity

Telenor UK Ltd. has entered into a strategic alliance with Estel Communications(India) to supply dedicated IP satellite connectivity for its Internet Backbone services from India to Europe and North America. Telenor UK, aided by its Norwegian sister company, TAIDE, is providing the IP trunking solution via the high-powered Europe*star 1 satellite, using Telenor UK’s central London teleport, and to North America via Telenor’s dedicated fibre.
