Telekom Srbija upgrades network

Alcatel-Lucent said that Telekom Srbija has deployed its Motive Network Analyzer solution as part of a network upgrade.

With this, elekom Srbija to provide customers throughout Serbia with ultra-broadband access to high-speed Internet, video-on-demand and advanced new business services.

"The Motive Network Analyzer enables the operator to remotely diagnose line quality and act proactively addressing issues before they impact the customer. It also offers dynamic line management (DLM) technology, which ensures optimal performance," a statement said.

"Telekom Srbija is making significant investments in its broadband copper infrastructure by migrating to VDSL2 vectoring technology that will deliver higher speeds to meet the demand for superfast broadband connections and high quality video content. Motive Network Analyzer allows Telekom Srbija to maximize this investment with its Upgrade Predictor functionality, which ensures that the service requested by the customer can be delivered with the required quality," it said.
