Tech Mahindra has been selected by Fulton county schools to modernize their Budget Formulation System
The company will execute cutting-edge budgeting system using SAP's Public Budget Formulation (PBF) suite for Fulton County Schools.
The new web based budget planning system will allow the school district to implement a more efficient budget development process by automating the key budget processes and will improve overall user experience. The system will also have the ability to disperse district level allocations to schools and for the schools to be able to adjust allotted budgets.
Another key goal of the project is to develop a robust reporting system aimed to help users to build flexible user-friendly budget planning and monitoring reports.
"This is the first time SAP's PBF suite will be deployed for a K12 School District," claimed by the company
These reports would reflect division, department and program data, allowing the district to analyze information using "What If" scenarios to help them make future decisions. In addition to improving transparency and accountability, the new system will provide a highly integrated planning platform for department, school, capital, grant, and other budget types in a single solution. This allows Fulton County Schools to meet the unique requirements of each budget process while providing an integrated view of the entire budget.

Tech Mahindra has also partnered with SAP for some critical pieces of the project to leverage their expertise on the SAP PBF product.
