TDSAT Dismisses Government Plea

Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) Tuesday dismissed the government's claim to have privilege over documents and correspondence between the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and telecom regulator TRAI which led to the decision to allow basic operators to offer limited mobility services under WLL. The tribunal had asked DoT to submit the required documents while giving the government time to decide on whether or not to disclose the files containing confidential material or appeal against TDSAT's order
