The government-run Telecommunications Consultants India (TCIL) has decided to offload its 30% equity stake in Bharti Hexacom to an investor. TCIL has appointed Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India as financial advisors for the proposed sale process. Bharti Hexacom is currently the market leader in wireless services in Rajasthan with 9.61 million subscribers and provides telemedia services to 35,000 customers. It is also one of the leading operators in North East circle with 1.31 million subscribers. During 2008-09, it achieved gross revenue of Rs 2,325 crore with a PAT of Rs 546 crore.
