Tata Telservices is Ahead of Bharti Amongst Private BSOs

According to ABTO, the total number of subscribers of
private basic operators' services has reached 896154 as on November 30. Tata
Teleservices leads the pack with 435,163 (including Hughes Tele, which was
acquired recently by the Tatas). Bharti follows with total subscribers of
296,217. HFCL Infotel, which operates in Punjab, has a total of 108454
subscribers, while Shyam Telelink has 56320
