Tata Telecom's Q3 Net up 70 Percent

Tata Telecom Ltd has announced its unaudited financial results for the third quarter ended December 31, 2003. The company has recorded a turnover of Rs 100 crore as compared to Rs 86 crores in the corresponding period in 2002-03. The company posted a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 9 crore as compared to Rs 5.3 crore in the corresponding previous period, an increase of 70 percent. For the nine-month period ended December 31, 2003, the company reported a turnover of Rs 269 crore as compared to Rs 216 crore in the corresponding previous period, a growth of 25 percent. The profit after tax (PAT) stands at Rs 22 crore as compared to Rs 10 crore in the corresponding previous period, an increase of 116 percent.
