Tata Telecom posts 27.91 per cent H1 Growth

Tata Telecom has announced its unaudited financial results for the six months period ended September 30, 2002. For the half-year ended September 2002, the company reported a turnover of Rs. 129.65 crores as compared to Rs. 101.36 crores in the corresponding previous period, a growth of 27.91 per cent. The profit after tax (PAT) stands at Rs.4.92 crores as compared to Rs 4.28 crores in the corresponding previous period, an increase of 14.95 per cent. For the second quarter of 2002-03, Tata Telecom has recorded a revenue of Rs. 70.05 crores as compared to Rs. 59.73 crores in the corresponding previous period, an increase of 17.28 per cent. The company posted a PAT of Rs. 3.33 crores as compared to Rs 3.10 crores in the corresponding previous period, an increase of 7.42 per cent.
