CHENNAI: Tata Indicom today launched its 'Smart PCO Loyalty Program 2006-07' a one-year program for its PCO operators (for the period of 2006-07). The announcement coincided with honouring the loyal PCO operators for the year 2005-06.
Popular south Indian actress Sneha gave away the prizes worth about Rs 60
lakhs, which included a car, bikes, and home theatres apart from felicitating the winners.
The loyalty program was re-christened today as “Smart PCO Cricket Kudhukalam' whereby the operator who has a PCO with STD or CCB (Coin Collection Box) connections is eligible for an entry. Whosoever achieving the minimum level of norms prescribed by the organization are assured of a prize with the highest performer winning an all paid trip to 'World Cup Cricket — in the pulsating Caribbean Islands,' in March 2007. The operators also stand to gain much more prizes then.
Talking on the occasion, Vikas Shah, Vice President and National Business Head, Access Business Unit (formerly PTB business) said: “The market response to Tata's Smart PCO product had been very positive and that the company sees tremendous growth potential in this category. “We are keen to further grow this category by offering huge savings to our customers at great value tariffs,” Shah added.
The program is aimed at building loyalty and trust among the existing Tata Indicom operators, while appreciating and commending their commitment and performance.
For his part, Ravi Taneja, Circle Operating Officer of Tata Teleservices (Tamil Nadu) said that the program has been devised keeping in view the end customers need and rewarding their partners for their efforts in taking the company's promises to the end users.
