Tata Docomo launches SMS route finder service

A Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) owned cellular service provider Tata Docomo, has launched a new route finder service which is accessible on SMS that will provide directions to the customers on the mobile for desired destination.

“Route Finder service is simple and useful, accessible on SMS and facilitates the end-user to get directions to the desired place from his/her current location in the form of an SMS or a link (as per the phone capability of the customer),” as per the statement issued by the company.

Tata Docomo has partnered Navteq, for the service. All 3G customers can avail the SMS route finder service in all handsets. The company has also announced the launch of voice guided navigation application 'Smart Pilot'.
