Tata Comm Q2 losses widen

Tata Communications'consolidated loss widened to Rs 213 crore in the second quarter ended

September 2010.It posted a loss of Rs 155 crore in comparative quarter last year.

Total income increased nine per cent to Rs 2,961 crore (Rs 2,720 crore).On a standalone basis,

net profit doubled to Rs 24 crore (Rs 10 crore) on a revenue of Rs 824 core (Rs 759 crore).

The company's shares on the BSE were up 1.33 per cent at Rs 315 on Thursday
