Tangoe closes Vodafone Telecom Expense Management deal

BENGALURU: Nasdaq-listed Tangoe Inc, a leading global provider of IT Expense Management (ITEM), which includes Telecom Expense Management (TEM), Managed Mobility Services (MMS), and Cloud Expense Management, has announced that it has closed the transactions related to its strategic partnership with Vodafone made public on April 6, 2016. This strategic partnership agreement named Tangoe as Vodafone’s preferred global TEM provider.

Specifically, Tangoe has acquired Vodafone’s existing TEM technology and a majority of Vodafone's TEM employees have transferred to Tangoe. Also, Tangoe acquired some of the TEM contracts from Vodafone, and the rest will be serviced by Tangoe as part of the strategic partnership.
