Swipe to roll out 10 devices in smartphone fablet space

Mobile technology company Swipe will come out with 10 devices in the Smartphone fablet space within a quarter.

The company has launched its first smartphone fablet in Swipe Konnect series. The company claims that it is the lightest smartphonefablet of the world.

The Swipe Konnect 5.0 fablet is priced at Rs 8,999 and weighs 135gms.

Powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core Processor, it runs on Android 4.2.2 Jellybean OS which can be ungraded to

Android 4.4 Kitkat and has a 1 GB RAM.

Swipe Konnect 5.0 is embedded with an 8 MP rear camera and a 3.2 MP front camera for 3G video calling.

The rear camera has an OV (OmniVision) sensor that improves the camera’s resolution and picture quality.

Backed by a 1950 mAH battery, it has an 8 GB inbuilt memory which can be expanded to 32 GB via an external SD card.

With a 5” qHD IPS Display, it has a super slim body with a stylish matte finish. The Konnect 5.0 is ergonomically designed to fit into the contours of users’ hands.

The Konnect 5.0 has a highly customizable UI which can be personalized with multiple effects, themes and transitions. It has unrestricted access to the Google Play Store, so that users can download from over one mn apps.

The Konnect 5.0 is dual SIM enabled, for professional as well as personal usage. The Smartphone fablet also comes with comprehensive connectivity features including WiFi, 3G, and Bluetooth.

In addition, the SmartphoneFablet is equipped with a free screen guard and premium business navigator

worth Rs 1499 free.

Swipe has recently received an investment of Rs 30 crore from Kalaari Capital in April 2014.
