Swati Rangachari has joined Ericsson as the Vice President- Communications & Corporate Affairs for Region India. Formerly in Boeing India, Rangachari comes to Ericsson with an understanding of strategic communications and industry relations that support sustained business growth. She is part of Ericsson's Region India Leadership Team reporting into Fredrik Jejdling, President and Region Head, Ericsson India.

In her new role, Rangachari will craft and implement communications and corporate affairs strategies and outreach programs focused on customers, media, government, industry associations etc. She will also leverage the global communication framework, to enhance the organization's overall brand perception. Rangachari comes with around 17 years of experience.
Rangachari joins Ericsson from Boeing India where she held the position of Director - Corporate Communications. She holds an extensive experience across different industries, such as Airlines, Technology, PR and Advertising industries. Prior to joining Boeing in 2008, she was responsible for managing communication programs targeted at expanded market growth and corporate leadership at Texas Instruments India. Rangachari has also held leadership positions in Talisma and Aditi Technologies.
Rangachari holds a post graduate degree in business management from the FORE School of Management in Delhi, a post graduate degree in International Management from ICHEC Brussels and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Poona. Rangachari has replaced P. Balaji, who joined Ericsson's previous JV partner Sony.
