Emerson Network Power has appointed Sunil Khanna as president and managing director for India replacing Sandeep Nair. Sandeep Nair is elevated to president of Fusite, an Emerson business headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.
In his role, Sunil will be responsible for directing and leading the organization to drive growth and profitability in line with Emerson's strategic direction and business ethics. He will also handle organizational development and talent management in order to sustain long term growth and enhance the company's competitive edge in the market place.
He will report to Stephen Liang, president of Emerson Network Power Asia Pacific.
He is associated with Emerson since 2004. In 2011. he held the role of vice president, strategic relations of Emerson (corporate) in India that he undertook in 2011. He had joined Emerson Process Management in 2004 as senior vice president, sales and operations in India and was elevated to managing director of the company in 2006.
Prior to joining Emerson, Sunil held leadership positions at ABB India including VP of automation technology, and divisional manager - South East Asia. He also has vast international work experience including postings in Singapore, Indonesia, UK and USA.
