Sunil Kamath joins Opera Software as sales director for India & SAARC regions

Opera Software has appointed Sunil Kamath as the Sales Director for India & SAARC region. In his current role as Sales Director for India & SAARC, Sunil is responsible for building strategic relationship with mobile operators, handset OEMs, content providers and other ecosystem providers in the region.

Sunil is a telecom sales professional with over 10 years of experience in sales and business development for the indian telecom market. Prior to joining Opera, he was working as AVP-Business Development with Obopay, a mobile payments provider.Opera has established partnership with telecom operators such as Tata Indicom and Vodafone in the region. A number of new handset brands being launched in India, such as Micromax, Lava, Olive, Fly, Spice Mobile etc. also partner with Opera by pre-installing Opera Mini on handsets.
