Sundararajan gets additional charge of telecom department

NEW DELHI: Aruna Sundararajan, secretary of the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DEITY), has been given additional charge of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) until any new order is passed.

She will replace Power Secretary PK Pujari, who was till now functioning in the DoT.

"Additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Telecommunications to be given to Smt. Aruna Sundararajan, lAS (KL:1982), Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, until further orders or till appointment of a regular incumbent, whichever is earlier,"according to the appointment notice.

A Kerala cadre IAS officer of 1982 batch, Aruna Sundararajan has served in various capacities.
