Subex Q3 net profit up Rs 4.5 crore

Subex has reported a rise of Rs 4.5 crore in its net profit of third quarter for the FY 2012, compared to the year ago quarter. The net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 28.5 crore, compared to Rs 24 crore in the Q3 of FY 10-11.

The company recorded a consolidated revenue of Rs 132.8 crore ($26.05 million) for the third quarter of FY 2012, up from Rs 126.7 crore ($24.86 million) in the year ago quarter.

The product revenue for the company stood at Rs 118.7 crore ($23.28 million) contributing to 89.36 percent of the consolidated revenue.

The company's product EBITDA counted Rs 43.9 crore ($8.02 million), while the consolidated EBITDA for the period stood at Rs 44.3 crore ($ 8.70 million), compared to Rs 38.6 crore ($7.58 million) in quarter three of FY 2011.

''Our product EBITDA stood at Rs 43.9 crore ($ 8.02 million) and we expect this to grow in the coming quarter,'' said Subash Menon, MD and CEO, Subex.
