Super charger with nanodot technology

StoreDot, a Israeli nanotechnology startup company which has unveiled a prototype battery charger that can take your phone from dead to full in under 30 seconds, according to the Thestar.com.

"The battery pack - about the size of a pack of cards - premiered Monday at a Microsoft Think Next event in Tel Aviv," said a report

"The bio-organic battery uses "nano-dots" or nano crystals that are made up of naturally occurring organic compunds called peptides," it said.

"We think we can integrate a battery into a smartphone within a year and have a commercially ready device in three years," founder Dr Dorn Myersdorf told the BBC.

The estimated cost of the charger will be twice that of an average phone charger, according to the Wall Street Journal.
