Spirent offers cloud security testing to Chunghwa

Chunghwa Telecom Laboratories (CHTTL), the research and development arm of Chunghwa Telecom has opted Spirent Communications solutions to help validate the security of its cloud computing centers.

Testing with Spirent enables CHTTL to simulate attacks in a cloud computing environment for virtual firewall testing, andto measure the performance of virtualized network infrastructures and applications deployed in the cloud, claimed a press statement.

“Many enterprises and service providers are planning to deploy cloud networks and services, and security is definitely their top concern.” said Gene Zhang, vice president, Asia at Spirent Communications.
