Sony launches 64GB Micro SD Card for Rs 5,679

Sony India on Tuesday launched its new UHS-I class10 high speed 64GB micro SD card, equipped with high speed data transfer and enhanced image recovery abilities to protect avid Smartphone photographers.

It enables fast data transfer of up to 40MB/s that is ideal for burst shooting and full HD video recording on Smartphones.

"The Micro SD Memory Card Class 10 also enables high speed downloading of application, data or content to Smartphones. Its enhanced performance allows users to also quickly transfer storage-intensive high-resolution photos and videos from the card to a computer," the company said in statement.

"The design of the Micro SD Memory Card Class 10 protocol makes the card highly reliable as it is water, dust, UV, X-ray and temperature proof and comes with a warranty of 5 years," it siad.

Available as a free download, users will find the recovery software a lifesaver as it enables the easy retrieval of photos, music and movies that were deleted by mistake, with a 90 per cent success rate on average.

The new 64GB Micro SD Card will be available across all Sony Centers for Rs. 5,679 from 10th May. 2014
