Sangoma appoints Aveek Roy as Regional Director

Sangoma Technologies, the Canadian firm specialising in IP communications solutions, has appointed Aveek Roy as regional director for Asia Pacific region.

Roy will be responsible for revenue generation in the region and would drive Sangoma's go-to-market strategy for the region . He operates in a strategic role, working to bring Sangoma's product portfolio to the market and enhance Sangoma's market leadership and product placement in emerging technology arenas.

Roy, a veteran in the industry with more than 12 years of experience, will be based out of Sangoma's regional office in Delhi.

Prior to Sangoma, Roy served as vice president of Patton Electronics. Besides, he had also worked in leadersip roles in AudioCodes, NMS Communications, Siemens and GE.
