Samsung Launches Galaxy 3 & Galaxy 5 in the India

Samsung Electronics has launched of its 'Affordable Smartphone' duo Galaxy 3 and Galaxy 5 in the India. The launch of these two smartphones closely follows the recent introduction of the company's iconic, next generation, Future Beyond Smart Phones, Samsung Wave and Galaxy S in the Indian market. Both Samsung Galaxy 3 and Galaxy 5 are based on the Android platform. The Samsung Galaxy 3 is endowed with preinstalled ThinkFree Office Mobile which lets the user create, view and edit word documents, spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations. With a 3.2 inches WQVGA 16M TFT hi Vresolution screen, the Galaxy 3 has a youthful design has a 3MP auto focus camera and a wi-fi connectivity speed of upto 74mbps.

Samsung Galaxy 5 is enhanced by the 2.8 inches QVGA TFT screen and a 2MP fixed focus camera. The handset offers excellent connectivity options through Bluetooth 2.1 to connect to other device and mobile peripherals helping easy file transfers and data downloads. The phone also has wifi connectivity, 3G HSDPA with speeds up to 7.2 mbps, 3.5 mm Ear jack, FM radio and A-GPS. The 90 MB internal of the phone memory is further upgradeable to 16GB.
