Samsung Electronics has launched 3 new 'Wave' series of handsets based on its proprietary platform, 'bada' , as well as the Windows based , Omnia 652. The launch of Wave 525, Wave 533 and Wave 723 follows the launch of the first Wave phone in June this year along with the Android based Galaxy S .The new Smartphone models represent the perfect blend of smart looks and smart performance at more affordable price points.
The Samsung Wave525, Samsung Wave533 and Samsung Wave723 include 3.2” WQVGA TFT displays and a 100MB internal memory with a free 2GB microSD card (expandable up to16GB). The simple, intuitive UI of the phones which is a key characteristic feature of the bada platform offers users effortless customization, interactivity and an unmatched support for social networking, device synchronization, content management and A-GPS feature which provides location based services in Google Maps. 'bada' is also open and configurable thus letting developers create boundless new applications for the phones which can be downloaded from the Samsung Apps Store.
