Samsung Galaxy III available in India

Just two days after the international debut, Samsung has officially unveiled Galaxy S III in India today. Powered by Android 4.0 and 1.4GHz quad core processor, the device features a 4.8inch display, 8MP rear camera, 1.9MP front camera and 2100 mAh battery.

Priced at Rs. 43,180, the smartphone comes with several new features t like Smart Stay, Direct Call, and Popup Video. Samsung has also partnered with Dropbox to provide Galaxy S III buyers 50GB of free cloud storage for two years.

The company has tie-up with Vodafone India wherein Vodafone customers can enjoy high speed internet on their Samsung Galaxy S III with 3 GB of 3G data for 2 months absolutely FREE.

The Korean company plans to use its Galaxy S III card and win over customers from the iPhone users . So far the Galaxy S III has garnered upwards of 9 million pre-orders worldwide and has saw e-booking of around 1000 units in India Company aims to launch the smartphone with 300 mobile operators around the world by the end of July.

Featuring a human touch , the device is believed to hit hard on its arch rival Apple iphone that too offers its device in the same bracket.
