RPG Cellular Hires KPMG for Selling Chennai Circle

The RPG Enterprises-promoted RPG Cellular Services Limited (RCSL) has hired KPMG to scout for buyer for its operations in Chennai. RPG has been a major player in Chennai since 1995. RPG Cellular holds 68.65 percent in the chennai circle via RPG Cellular Investments and Holdings. Earlier Vodafone was holding around 21 percent, which has recently been sold to C Srinivasan (the promoter of Aircel Ltd).
