NEW DELHI: Domestic handset maker Reach Mobile will invest around Rs 150 crore in the next fiscal to expand its reach in the Indian market.
It is also looking to sell one lakh handsets per month by next quarter.
According to media reports, the company will spend Rs 60 crore on marketing and advertising encompassing all the 360 degree media vehicles like TV, Print, Radio, Outdoor, among others at a national level.
In addition, the company will spend Rs 90 crore for expansion of branches, infrastructure and manpower.
The handset maker expanded its smartphone line-up in the country with two device.
Reach Mobile's product portfolio comprises of more than 50 models, ranging from dual-SIM feature phones, and 3G Android smartphones. The company is a part of the $1 billion Rashmi Group.
The two new smartphone models are Reach Klassy 300 HD and Reach Klassy 400 HD.
Reach Klassy 300 HD has 5 inch HD screen with IPS panel and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core cortex A7 processor. It runs on Android v4.4.2 Kitkat OS and features 8 MP rear and 3.2 MP front camera.
The Klassy 400 HD smartphone features a 5 inch HD screen with IPS/OGS display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core cortex A7 processor and 1 GB RAM.
It runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS and features 8 MP rear and 3.2 MP front camera. Both the devices come equipped with 2400 mAH battery.
