RCOM net revenue up 12 percent, profit falls 8.8 percent

Reliance Communications (RCOM) net revenue has increased by 12.17 percent to reach Rs 5,956 crore in the quarter ended March, 2013 as against Rs 5,310 crore during the last year quarter ended March 2012.

The company's net profit has gone down by 8.8 percent to register Rs 303 crore in the quarter ended March, 2013 as against Rs 331.6 crore during the previous year ended March, 2012.

The company's yearly revenue has increased by 4.49 percent to reach Rs 20,561 crore in comparison to Rs 19,677 crore achieved in FY 2011-12.The company's yearly net profit has gone down by 27.59 percent to register at Rs 672 crore in comparison to Rs 928 crore achieved in FY 2011-12.

The company's wireless revenue reached Rs 4,626 crore, up 2.5 percent q-o-q and wireless EBITDA stood at Rs 1,233 crore, up 2.3 percent q-o-q. Global enterprise revenue reached Rs 2,466 crore, up 0.5 percent q-o-q.

RPM stood at a healthy 44 paisa. The company has successfully achieved RPM stability for the last 12 consecutive quarters amidst intense competition and over supply of minutes in market place.

The company continues to be free cash flow positive. RCOM generated operational cash flow (EBITDA) of Rs 2,218 crore in Q4. This is the second full year of positive free cash flow (FCF) for the company and this trend shall continue in succeeding years.

The company 3G customers has reached at 7.2 million, which is highest in the industry and 29.4 million data customers. Total data traffic has reached at 27,240 million MB, up 21 percent q-o-q and data usage per subscriber stands at 319 MB which was highest in the industry.

On March 2013, the company wireless minutes stands at 105.4 billion, up 2.3 percent q-o-q. RCom board also approved dividend of 5 percent payout and totals around Rs 60 crore.
