The enterprise networking solutions (ENS) division of Ramco Systems is the
arm that provides network and system integration solutions and professional
services for the company.

Over the last two years, Ramco has emerged as one of the niche players in the
networking space in the country. Today, with a rich experience in LAN/WAN design
and integration, and in network security, network management, network
performance, its USP is as a solutions provider for networking applications. It
caters to network management and network performance solutions.

Its total revenue in the area of network infrastructure, implementation,
management, and security, stood at Rs 61 crore.

Ramco’s strength comes from its partnerships with principals like Nortel
Networks, 3Com, Enterasys, AMP, CheckPoint, ISS, TrendMicro, and RSA, and focus
on providing customers with network and secure customer’s applications. Ramco
has emerged as one of the first few to have a complete portfolio of security
solutions in India. Its security business in 2001-02 stood at Rs 9 crore, with
services alone contributing about Rs 2 crore. Ramco Systems conducts training on
networking and security products through authorized training centers for Nortel
Networks, Check Point, and ISS. It looks geared to tap new opportunities in the
complex network regime.
