During
last fiscal, Allied Digital posted a total turnover of Rs 84.70 crore as
compared to Rs 68 crore in the previous year, showing a growth rate of 23
percent. The revenue from networking was Rs 25.6 crore as compared to 22.35 last
year.

The company secured major orders from Acer India, Triton
Communication, Air India, Asea Brown Boveri, and Reuters. It has also executed
fibre optic projects for RPG Transmission and Hughes Ispat Ltd.
Last year, the company forged new tie-ups with Acer, NIIT,
and Openshop. It is also a networking and communication partner for Intel
besides being an authorized solution provider.
Allied Digital targets to be a national player in the area of network
management, enterprise management, and remote monitoring technology and
services. Targeted segments include data centres, ISP/ASP, call centres, and
storage area networks. It also plans to leverage on its networking skills to
provide solutions for corporate Intranets, VPNs, and ISDN. The company currently
has a direct presence in 36 locations in the country, which will be expanded to
50 with the objective of achieving a national player status. Allied Digital has
announced the years 2000-01 as the year of e-solutions wherein the focus would
be to update the skill-sets of its team in every arena of IT.
