Rajeev Suri appointed head of Services, Nokia Siemens Networks

Nokia Siemens Networks announced that Rajeev Suri, previously head of the
Asia Pacific region of Nokia Siemens Networks, has been appointed to lead the
Services business unit. Suri will be based in India and will be a member of
Nokia Siemens Networks' Executive Board, reporting to CEO Simon Beresford-Wylie.
This move is designed to accelerate the progress of Nokia Siemens Networks'
transformation in the face of anticipated growth in new and emerging
telecommunications markets.

"We see Services as an important growth area - both in emerging and
mature markets," said Simon Beresford-Wylie, chief executive officer of
Nokia Siemens Networks. "Rajeev has demonstrated his ability to manage
complex, distributed organizations and has been instrumental to the company's
fast growth and strong presence in the APAC region. We expect he will bring the
same discipline and customer focus to his new position leading the Services
business."

Nokia Siemens Networks' Services organization has more than 20,000
professionals, serving 300 fixed and 300 mobile customers in 150 countries
around the world. Nokia Siemens Networks had recently announced its plans to
invest USD 100 million in India over the next three years as a part of its
commitment to developing a strong telecommunications environment in the country.

Rajeev Suri joined Nokia in 1995 and has held a number of executive positions
in Business Development, Marketing and Sales and Strategy, where he was based in
various locations including India, Finland, the United Kingdom and Singapore.

In an earlier role, Suri was responsible for a portfolio of Nokia's
infrastructure customers in Europe and key new growth markets. Prior to joining
Nokia, Suri worked with ICL in India and RPG Group in corporate business
development for new ventures and strategic planning. He also worked for a large
conglomerate in West Africa where he was heading their corporate commercial and
international imports division. Born in 1967, Rajeev has a Bachelor of
Engineering (Electronics and Telecommunications) from Mangalore University, India.
