Panasonic launches HDVC-VC 1000SX; to be part of Rio Olympics 2016

The HDVC-VC 1000SX has a built-in MCU for 10 site connection and an intranet and inter dual network to allow participants to connect inside and outside offices.

BENAGALURU: Japanese electronic major Panasonic India’s expanding B2B portfolio is to be further enhanced by its latest offering in the HD Visual Commumincations Systems segment. The HDVC- VC 1000SX comes with new features which Panasonic says is in-line with the company’s commitment towards reliability and also improving on the KX series from 2015. Panasonic already has a market share of 3% in end point market and by 2017 the company aims to capture 8% share in end point market and the latest efforts is to further consolidate the company’s strengthening in the division.

The HDVC-VC 1000SX has a built-in MCU for 10 site connection and an intranet and inter dual network to allow participants to connect inside and outside offices. The latest offering comes with a Fully Interoperable Legacy System with aged video conference units and dual monitors to allow better meetings as PC Content and Sub-Camera images interact more seamlessly.

Alongside these unique features, the unit also comes with Point to Point Equipment H.323 & SIP which can be up to 18 Mbps and 1080p 60 Fps. To reassure the buyer, the product comes with an inbuilt warranty for 3 years and the latest generation Video and Audio Codec. Finally, a single display and single network support are features that we hope will solidify the HDVC-VC 1000SX in a class of its own in the Visual Communications Systems segment.

In recognition of the HDVC systems’ performances over the years, Panasonic’s HD Video Conferencing Unit has been selected by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for use at the Summer Olympics and the Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (OCOG). Leading up to the Summer Olympics in London, 2012, the video conferencing unit was used extensively and this trend will continue at this Summer’s Olympics in Rio de Jeneiro, says Panasonic.
