Optical fiber network expands mobile capacity for Slovenian subscribers

Optical fiber network have expanded mobile capacity for Slovenian subscribers. Si.mobil, Slovenia's mobile operator has selected Nokia Siemens Networks under a five year deal to improve the availability of advanced data services. Subscribers of Si.mobil, will now be able to enjoy improved access to hi-speed data services. The operator has recently deployed Nokia Siemens Networks' optical transport platform to enhance user experience by improving network efficiency across the country.

The five-year contract also includes an array of services including installation, commissioning and implementation as well as support and maintenance.
