Nu Tek India, a telecom infrastructure services provider, posted consolidated net profit (adjusted) of Rs. 27.05 crore for the year ended March 31, 2009. The consolidated income from operations for the year ended March 31, 2009, was Rs. 180.3 crores.
Talking about the results, Inder Kumar Sharma, Founder and Managing Director, NuTek said, “The last year was of tremendous growth for the industry on the whole, with 11 million wireless subscribers joining the telecom bandwagon every month. Nu Tek being part of the same sector also had its share of success. Our continuing focus on domain expertise and efficient telecom infrastructure services has helped us carve out a niche in the services sector.”
“The outlook for the coming year ahead remains positive with MNP, 3G and Wi-Max becoming the focus of the year,” he said.
