NSN acquires IRIS

Nokia Siemens Networks has finalised the acquisition of Turkey based IRIS Telecom. This acquisition strengthens its implementation, network planning and optimization capabilities and business across Turkey, Eastern Europe and Central Asia. IRIS provides high-quality network planning and optimisation services to telecom operators and equipment vendors in Turkey, the regions of Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Middle East and Africa. IRIS Telecom provides network deployment and network operation services. Its customers include mobile operators Turkcell, Avea and Ucell. and delivers network deployment and operation services. IRIS will continue to function as a separate legal entity with its head office in Istanbul, Turkey.
