VOICE&DATA conducted a technology conference titled 'CommScope Technology
Conference 2009'.

At a time when infrastructure development is on a high priority for the
Indian government, and communication network with a right physical layer

and businesses; the event held in New Delhi on September 2, 2009, registered a

In his welcome note, Prasanto K Roy, president and chief editor, CyberMedia

solution for efficient data transfer, and the need for going green for energy

The government sectors particularly, need to be aware of what kind of

efficiently, and at the same time with cost effectiveness. For this purpose,
Sandip Chadha, MD, India and SAARC, CommScope, introduced solutions for
government sectors.

He took the audience through CommScope's new range of products, to give a
perspective about how CommScope can help government sectors. He said that

redefining performance from every angle. It is a revolution in the SCS industry;
where engineering meets elegance, speed meets intelligence, and copper meets
fiber.

James Young, technical director, Asia Pacific), CommScope, presented
valuable technical information on the technologies CommScope developed for its
customers, after gathering critical information from its customers around the
world; and as a result of their R&D lab to ensure successful network
technologies. He said, "The lifespan of any technology is becoming shorter, year
after year. This is true in networking technologies also, and we have to cope up
with that fact. Data explosion is an undeniable phenomenon, which requires
advanced cabling technologies for efficient data transfer."

Lot of next generation technologies to fulfill future requirements are
available from CommScope, and these technologies are much faster and easier to
deploy. So it is the right time for the government sector organizations and
private enterprises to utilize the availability of these solutions for their
benefit.
