Netxcell joins hand with Funmobile

Netxcell, the pioneers in providing Telecom technology services, announced today its association with Funmobile, a leader in the mobile content domain in West Africa which offers entertainment and information with richer multimedia forms of video, music and gaming.

Through this partnership, Netxcell will implement services for MTN, one of the leading telecom operators in Africa with GSM licenses in 21 countries, across Africa and Middle East.

Netxcell will provide its cutting edge technology solutions such as IVR based services - Voice Chat & Information and Subscription Dialers in Nigeria. While Netxcell will be responsible for driving the products from registration phase, profile maintenance, filtration, connectivity (with Funmobile and MTN), usage, promotions and. billing. Funmobile, which is a known player in voice SMS will start offering Voice Chat with Netxcell's support and with their local know how and expertise handle day-to-day operations. They will also engage end customers through their call center and moderators to increase uptake/calling minutes.

This association between Netxcell and Funmobile is a win-win proposition, while on one end it will enable Fumobile to better its offerings for its clients' customer engagement resulting in enhanced bottom lines, for Netxcell this partnership will give it exposure to Nigeria which will be an additional geography for the company in the fast growing African market along with their current presence in markets like: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Sudan and Burundi.
