Netxcell eyes African market for telecom partners

Home grown telecom solution provider Netxcell is on the lookout to partner with African telecom firms to offer its solutions as it aims to tap the middle-east market.


“The company will be looking for partnership opportunities at the upcoming VAS Africa 2014, which will be held from 24-25 June in Johannesburg, South Africa,” a statement said.

At present, Netxcell provides services in four African countries--Nigeria, Tanzania, Cameroon and Burundi and also to major telecom operators in Africa.

The company will showcase its voice and data offerings such as Campaign Manager, USSD Based Provisioning, Life-Cycle Management, OBD (Outbound Dialer), Voice Chat, etc. at the VAS Africa 2014.


It provides services to major operators like MTN, Etisalat, Zantel and Leo. The company also inked a partnership agreement with Funmobile, an Africa-based telecom company, to serve African telecom operators together.

Through VAS Africa, Netxcell is looking to further enhance its presence and establish long-term partnerships in the continent. It also plans to tap the middle-east market.

VAS Africa is an annual event for the telecom and I&B industry worldwide. This year’s VAS Africa is expected to witness over 40 speakers worldwide.
