MTS unveils CDMA smartphone for Rs 5,999

MTS has launched a CDMA smartphone, MTag 353 for Rs 5,999. The company has bundled voice and data plan along with the smartphone - 512MB data at HSD per month for 2 months, 500 Mins local and STD calls per month for 3 months, and 1paise per 2 second local and STD calls for 6 months.

MTag 353 smartphone is built on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It is powered by the advanced 800 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and comes with a 1500 mAh battery, 3 mega pixel camera; high speed wireless tethering mobile hotspot, an expandable memory slot of up to 32 GB; pre-bundled with a 2 GB card in box. The other smartphones launched by MTS include MTag 352, MTag 351, MTag 281 and Samsung Galaxy Y by MTS.
