MTNL slashes SMS Charges

MTNL has slashed person-to-person SMS charges to 25 paise for all its cellular customers. While the information seeking SMS would be charged at 50 paise for its postpaid customers, and 25 paise for prepaid customers till 31 March, 2004. MTNL has also reduced its roaming rental by half to Rs 30 and waived the caller line identification charges for its postpaid customers, among other things.
