MRO-TEK has been granted a patent for its indigenously developed broadband delivery device Daisy -105. Daisy 105 is a Ethernet powered Control-Exchange- connector switch that carries Ethernet network data and extends switched data on user ports along with DC power. Apart from extending granular broadband delivery, the device also extends power on its user ports well enough to power remote devices like IP phones, IADs, low power switches etc. Offered as a complete managed solution, it allows power management on user ports.

Today, in an era when millions of switched Ethernet ports are sold worldwide, Power over Ethernet has become one of the largest mainstream technologies to deliver power on Ethernet cables. And for a brand like MRO-TEK that has scored remarkable successes with breakthrough products and solution developed for Managed Ethernet and TDM Network Access, grabbing a patent for the newly developed networking product happens to bring new heights in the field of tech-development.

With service providers coming up with financial reports citing annual revenue growth of around 15% in Ethernet services market, the service is being used in all sectors of the network -- be it enterprise applications, residential triple play, mobile backhaul, wire line BB access, aggregation, or core.

As per new market research study from the Insight Research Corporation, US enterprises and consumers are expected to spend more than $37 billion over the next five years on Ethernet services provided by carriers.

Carrier Ethernet technologies and products are becoming a permanent, ingrained, inseparable, and growing part of service provider networks, manifested in access, aggregation, core, metro, and long haul.

And, it seems that the momentum behind retail sales of Ethernet services to the enterprise is being driven by the customer's steadily increasing demand for data bandwidth and Ethernet's real cost advantages in terms of providing flexible bandwidth and scalability that is superior to many competitive services.

Hence the coming decade is surely expected to open up a huge market of Ethernet carrier.
