Microsoft unveils application for social integration

Microsoft Dynamics, a line of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) software applications developed by microsoft has launched CRM R7 2011, a software with social integration features in India, which according to the software giant, integrates social capabilities into Microsoft Dynamics customer relationship management (CRM) and further strengthens service and marketing processes for businesses.

The software enables businesses to gather insights about their customers and products by incorporating real-time social media conversations into company's existing CRM view of the customers. This software is expected to strengthen lead generation and accelerate customer and influencer outreach, said the company.

The software's automatic activity feeds are also accessible via Windows 7 phone and incorporates micro-blogging, with which users are able to follow important real-time business events and activities through social media in a timely manner.

''The new CRM update delivers social capabilities allowing our customers to build more productive relationships. The social productivity service reinforces our commitment to deliver familiar, connected and intelligent experiences by offering new integrated social collaboration capabilities, as well as interoperability with office 365 and new enhancements using Microsoft Dynamics CRM in the cloud for enterprises,'' said Subhomoy Sengupta, group director, Microsoft Dynamics India.

CRM R7 2011 is available on CRM Online, the cloud version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM offering.
