MediaTek announces its quad core SoC, launched in December 2012 is powering Lenovo's IdeaTab S6000.
The Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 Tablet maximizes MediaTek's advanced smart solutions to deliver high performance, a premium multimedia experience and power efficiency, at an affordable price to the global tablet marketplace.

This year, at Mobile World Congress, MediaTek's quad core SoC will be powering three new Android tablets launched by Lenovo, led by the Lenovo IdeaTab S6000. Built on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, the S6000 is a sleek (8.6mm) and light (560g), 10" tablet which leverages quad-core processing to deliver performance, connectivity, and clarity. This makes the S6000 highly adaptable and suitable for multiple uses, including web-browsing, gaming, socializing and multimedia, all whilst feeling good in the hands and being light on the pocket.
