McAfee appoints Jagdish Mahapatra as MD

McAfee has appointed Jagdish Mahapatra as the managing director for India and SAARC region, reporting to Wahab Yusoff, president south Asia.

In this role Mahapatra will be responsible for driving enterprise and consumer driven product revenues, increasing the customer base across verticals, and leading channel partner and alliance engagements.

''With an excellent track record, strategic outlook and deep industry expertise, we are confident that Jagdish will steer McAfee on a swift growth trajectory in the India and SAARC region and continue to strengthen McAfee's leadership in the security market,'' said Wahab Yusoff, VP, South Asia, McAfee.

Prior to this he served Cisco, as senior VP, IT services sales, and worked with the company for almost 12 years. Before Cisco he managed the networking business for Godrej Pacific for over three years.
